End blog post Body First, John Abraham traces the man's movements to Mumbai's Vakola neighbourhood. A flutter of excitement runs through his body as he sees the house where he suspects his target is sleeping. Unfortunately for him, he is too late and the entire police force is there with him. The former cop is interrogated and all his movements are recorded on video by them. The track is now on its way to Mumbai's Police Headquarters office and it all ends with a cryptic message from the main villain: "Do whatever you want." The whole post talks about what happens next in the movie and how it ends... This movie was first announced to the public by director Ravi Jadhav on 1 March 2013. He said that he would be making it under the banner of his own production company titled 'RJ Films' which is co-owned by himself, singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya and producer Ekta Kapoor. The film marks the acting debut of Abraham and is also Shroff's last film before retirement. Actress Jacqueline Fernandez was offered a role in the film, though she later turned it down due to date issues. The film's first schedule began on 10 March 2014 with filming taking place in Bangalore, Mysore and Ooty. Filming continued in Mumbai throughout the first half of 2015 before moving to Hyderabad for twelve days. The film was shot by cinematographer Shirsha Shrivastava, who had previously worked on "Shootout at Lokhandwala" (2007), "D-Day" (2013) and "Satya 2" (2014). It was edited by Ahmed Khan. Mumbai Police was completed in September 2015 after having faced six further schedules of shooting throughout the year.
